The abstract and or full paper must be written in good academic English. Spelling follows Webster’s International Dictionary; Please follow the format when preparing your abstract and or full paper.

  1. ABSTRACT (download template)
    a. Submit the abstract (in MS Word .docx) via the Universitas Advent Indonesia Open Journal System, read how to submit guideline [HERE];
    b. All abstracts must be submitted electronically by completing the appropriate online abstract submission form before 11:59 p.m. WIB on August 15, 2019;
    c. Abstract received by the deadline will be (double-blind) peer-reviewed by an internal panel on a rolling basis. A notification of acceptance/rejection will be issued at the latest July 31,2019;
    d. Accepted abstract must submit their full papers by September 30, 2019;
    e. For co-authored papers (with more than one author), the submitting author will serve as the corresponding author who has the responsibility to forward all correspondences to his/her co-authors (e.g., revision/acceptance/rejection emails).
    f. The filename of your Abstract should be in this format: Abstract_Strand_Institute_papertitle.docx
    Example: Abstract_AlliedHealth_UNAI_Healthcare.docx;
  2. FULL PAPER (download template)
    a.Submit the full paper (in MS Word .docx) via the Universitas Advent Indonesia Open Journal System [click to enter], read the submission guideline [HERE].
    b. All full paper must be submitted electronically by completing the appropriate online full papers submission form before 11:59 p.m. WIB on September 30, 2019;
    c. Full papers will be (double-blind) peer-reviewed by an internal panel on a rolling basis. A notification of acceptance/rejection will be issued;
    d. For co-authored papers (with more than one author), the submitting author will serve as the corresponding author who has the responsibility to forward all correspondences to his/her co-authors (e.g., acceptance/rejection emails);
    f. The filename of your Full Paper should be in this format:
    Full Paper_Strand_Institute_papertitle.docx
    Example: Full Paper_AlliedHealth_UNAI_Healthcare.docx;
  3. POWERPOINT PRESENTATION (download template)
    a.     Powerpoint presentations for accepted papers must be uploaded by October 15, 2019 [upload here]. For security purposes, we discourage the use of flash drives to submit presentations;
    b. All powerpoint presentation must use the template provided;
    c. The filename of your PowerPoint should be in this format: PPT_Strand_Firstname_Lastname_papertitle.pptx
    Example: PPT_AlliedHealth_Obaja_Lumbanraja_Healthcare.pptx;

We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.

Responsibilities of the Authors

  1. If you are the presenting author(s) submitting the abstract:
    a. Ensure all authors are listed on the abstract submission form and that all listed authors have reviewed the abstract, taken responsibility for its contents, and agreed to be listed as an author.
    b. Ensure all information submitted in abstract is FINAL. No revisions can be made to submitted abstracts and author information cannot be changed.. All abstracts should be carefully written and edited prior to submission.
    c. Ensure that the abstract adheres submission requirements including formatting and author/presenter information. Abstracts not adhering to requirements will not be considered for acceptance.
    d. Ensure that you (and any co-presenting author) are available to present on October 28-29, 2019 in Universitas Advent Indonesia.
    e. Communicate all relevant information with other authors involved in the submission.
    f. Understand that any expenses associated with the submission are the responsibility of the submitter.
  2. If your abstract is selected for presentation, then:
    a. Presenting author(s) must register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fee.
    b. Presenting author(s) must upload their presentation powerpoint to [HERE] using the 7isc powerpoint template [HERE], read the oral presentations guideline [HERE]
    c. Presenting author(s) are responsible for their own travel expenses.
    d. Presenting author(s) of selected abstracts will be asked to provide consent to 7th ISC organizers to publish the research paper in various journals in Universitas Advent Indonesia.
    e. Note this is a voluntary presentation and no honorarium is provided.
